🌐 Read Astroguider in Your Language

Every Page, Any Language

Astroguider is written in English, but you don't need to know English to read it. Every major browser can translate the entire site into your own language, for free, in a couple of clicks — no extra app, no sign-up.

Quick version: most browsers will simply ask you if you'd like to translate the page the moment you land on Astroguider, if it's not already in your language. If you see that pop-up, you can usually just tap or click "Translate" and you're done — the detailed steps below are only for when that doesn't happen automatically.

🟡
Google Chrome
Built-in · Automatic
Desktop
01Open any Astroguider page — Chrome usually offers to translate automatically.
02If it doesn't, click the translate icon on the right side of the address bar.
03Choose your language from the list. Done.
04To set this permanently: ⋮ menu → Settings → Languages, and turn on "Offer to translate."
Mobile (Android & iPhone)
01A translation bar appears at the bottom of the screen automatically.
02Tap it to translate instantly.
03If it doesn't appear, tap the ⋮ menu and choose Translate.
🧭
Safari
Built-in · Apple devices
Mac
01Look for the "aA" icon in the address bar.
02Click it, then choose Translate to [Your Language].
03The first time, Safari will ask you to confirm — click Enable Translation.
iPhone & iPad
01Tap the "aA" icon in the address bar.
02Tap Translate Website.
03Choose your language from the list that appears.
🦊
Firefox
Built-in · Private, on-device
Desktop
01A translation icon appears in the address bar automatically — click it.
02Or use the menu: ☰ → Translate Page.
03Choose your language and click Translate.
Android
01Tap the translation icon in the address bar when it appears.
02Or use the menu → Translate page.

Nice to know: Firefox translates entirely on your own device rather than sending the page to a cloud service — a good option if you'd simply rather your browsing stayed local.

🔷
Microsoft Edge
Built-in · Automatic
Desktop
01Edge usually shows a pop-up automatically asking if you'd like to translate.
02Click Translate — or click the translate icon in the address bar at any time.
03Manage preferences under ⋯ menu → Settings → Languages.
Mobile
01A pop-up appears automatically when the page loads.
02Tap Translate to confirm.

A quick honesty note: automatic translation is genuinely good today, but it isn't perfect — especially for specialised terms in astrology, numerology and esoteric traditions, some of which don't have a single agreed translation in every language. If something reads strangely, the English original is always the most accurate version.
